Bookings

The Client, by placing an order via email or phone, agrees that they accept the conditions of the rental agreement. The Client will be supplied an invoice as confirmation of their booking. Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) will retain a booking form and signed copy of the terms and conditions.

A $100 non-refundable deposit will be required at time of booking to secure your party date. The deposit will go towards the cost of the service provided.

Any outstanding balance is due one week prior to your party. Payment not received within this time-frame will result in the cancellation of the service. The remaining balance is based upon the final headcount, as provided by the renter, and any additional items purchased and supplied for the party.

Rental Period

Unless prior arrangements are made, rental charges are for one overnight period. Rental charges are for the agreed period only. If the equipment is unavailable for pick up or return as agreed, Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) reserves the right to charge the Client for an additional day at the rate agreed for the services provided and invoiced. If the Client chooses to postpone the event, cancellation charges will apply. See below.

Cancellation or Rescheduling

Cancellations can be made up to 14 days prior to the party. The $100 deposit is non-refundable in any case but may be applied towards the cost of another party if held within 90 days of the original party date.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, credit card payments through our website and payment via internet banking (banking details are provided along with booking confirmation and invoice).

Receipt of Delivery

The Client is responsible for being present to accept delivery of the equipment. The Client is responsible for any loss or damage incurred if he / she arranges equipment to be delivered without being present or without an authorized agent being present. The Client is responsible for losses or damage resulting from equipment being delivered to an unattended premises or location if requested by the Client.

Set Up Times

Please note that set up times may vary. and you will be allocated approximately a 2-hour window for arrival.

Friday set up:                     Set up time between 1pm – 4pm (Friday setups are more flexible)
Saturday set up:                Set up time between 10am – 4pm
Saturday pick up:              Between 10-noon.
Sunday pick up:                 From 11am.

Alternate times can be discussed.

Positioning/Setting up of Equipment

The Client is responsible for indicating clearly the location of the assembly or dismantling of the equipment. Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) will take every care but shall not be liable for any damage to the premises, site, site access, furniture or personal belongings.

All floor areas must be clean from dirt and dust before setup commences and all furniture for the space required must be moved or cleared from the set-up area.

Use of Equipment and Damages

A checklist with the rental items and any additional items rented by the client will be delivered to the client and signed before we leave the party. It is the client’s responsibility to return all items included on the checklist in perfect condition on the arranged pick-up day. Any damaged or lost items will incur a charge.

The Client is responsible for checking the quantity of rented items against the invoice/agreement upon delivery. Please notify Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) immediately to advise of any discrepancy or damage discovered. Advice after the function will not be considered as advice and the Client will be liable for any loss or damage to the items. Any damage or stains pointed out by the client prior to the rental will be noted in the checklist before signing.

Damage to rental equipment during use is the responsibility of the Client and the Client agrees to pay repair or replacement charges for damaged equipment after the rental date. If at any time during the rental period the Client considers the equipment to be faulty, it is the Client’s responsibility to contact Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) to report the problem. Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) reserves the right to repair or replace the faulty equipment as soon as practicable during the rental period to the reasonable satisfaction of the Client. The Client should not attempt to repair the equipment without prior consent. Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) will not be liable for any loss, damage or expenditure incurred by the Client due to faulty equipment for any reason whatsoever.

Any damage or lost items other than tents or teepees will be charged at up to $40 per item. Any damage to a teepee will be charged at $30 each and damage to A-frame tents will be charged at $100 each.

To avoid unnecessary charges, we strongly advise against jumping on air mattresses or sitting/standing on tray tables.

Pets, Food and Beverages

Pets, food and drinks are totally prohibited in the tents or teepees and on the hired equipment. Any food or stains caused by pets, drinks or food inside or outside of the tents or any other items will result in a cleaning fee of up to $100. Linen does not need to be washed, however if it is returned stained or excessively dirty a cleaning fee will apply. All rental equipment, linen and bed sheets need to be returned dry.

Smoke Free Environment

A smoke-free environment must be provided at all times during the party and also during the teepee and tent rental. Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) retains the right to charge the client a cleaning fee of up to $100 if any of the items have been exposed to smoke or any other odours related to it.

Shoes

Client agrees to ask guests to take their shoes off to enter the party space or room area.  Under no circumstances shall any shoes be allowed in the party area.

Insurance

Insurance is the Client’s responsibility during the rental period. The Client is responsible for the security of the equipment at all times during the rental period. Any lost, broken, damaged or destroyed equipment will be charged to the Client at full replacement value.

Liability to Third Parties

Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings) will not be liable for any claim for personal injury, death, loss or damage to the property however caused unless it is proved that such injury was caused by faulty material, workmanship or negligence on the part of Posh Little Parties (MLP Holdings).
